Background
Beginning her career in the superannuation industry with a major insurance company in London, Karen went on went on to work for a national retail chain running their company superannuation scheme.
Eager to experience life on a wider scale, Karen pursued her passion for travel. Arriving in Australia having backpacked through Asia for 10 months, Karen found employment with an office supplies company and discovered a talent for sales and telemarketing. 4 years later, Karen headed off to Africa for 4 months, where she met her husband Martin.
A year back in the UK provided Karen with the opportunity to expand on her sales and managerial skills working for Yellow Pages before returning to Australia for good.
Karen invested four years with a business coach herself, growing as a leader and coaching her team to success, and realized her true passion is helping others realize their full potential and achieve their goals.

Achievements
- Karen qualified as a youth worker, gained experience in several inner city London multicultural youth clubs, and was involved with an organization called PHAB – (physically handicapped – able bodied) for 7 years, providing a social integration programme for young people with and without physical handicaps.
- Karen has run her own telemarketing business in the office supplies industry for 11 years, turning over in excess of $15 million. She has trained and mentored more than 220 team members across 4 businesses and has a passion for helping people achieve. Karen believes that people work best when intrinsically motivated, and has reflected this in the many incentive and reward programmes she has implemented – “Find out what people want, and find a way to give it to them.”
- On a more personal level, Karen has trekked the Himalayas in Nepal, visited the mountain gorillas in Uganda, spotted sloths in the rainforests of Costa Rica, and watched the sunset over the Taj Mahal.
- Her brightest achievement, however, is the family she has attracted –her husband Martin, and their two beautiful sons, Tom and Jack.

Karen is an avid reader and has a passion for personal development. She enjoys going to the movies & theatre, and hanging out with her family.
